Altar Management System

Welcome to the Altar Management System website. This platform is designed to help our altars securely record and manage their assets data. Please read these terms carefully before using the system.

1. Authorised Users

Access to this website is strictly limited to ordained clergy holding the rank of Senior Pastor or above. No other church staff, volunteers, or external parties are permitted to log in or view the data contained herein.

2. Purpose of the Platform

This site exists solely for the purpose of collecting and maintaining an up‑to‑date financial records as well as register of assets (e.g., buildings, vehicles, equipment, land, and other valuable property) owned by each altar. The data is essential for legal compliance and helps the central church administration plan, insure, and manage resources effectively.

3. Altar Obligations

Each altar is required to:

• Update their financial data at least once a month and asset register at least once every calendar year. Asset updates should reflect any new acquisitions, disposals, or changes in asset condition or value.
• Provide accurate and complete information to the best of their knowledge.
• Designate a responsible Senior Pastor (or above) to carry out the update and ensure its correctness.

4. Data Protection – Kenya Data Protection Act (2019)

All personal and organisational data entered into this system is processed in full compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. Specifically:

• Data is collected lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
• Data is used only for the intended purpose of asset and financial management as well as legal compliance.
• Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction.
• Data subjects (including church leaders and representatives) have rights to access, rectify, and request deletion of their personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements.
• Data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law.

5. Confidentiality and Non‑public Data

No data on this site is intended for public consumption. All information – including clergy personal data, finance data, asset lists, valuations, locations, and contact details – is strictly confidential and intended solely for authorised church leadership. Users must not share, copy, or distribute any data from this system to anyone outside the authorised clergy group. Unauthorised disclosure may result in disciplinary action.

6. User Responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them.
• Immediately report any suspected security breach or unauthorised access to the system administrator.
• Log out of the system after each session, especially when using shared devices.
• Use the system only for its intended purpose; any misuse or manipulation of data is prohibited.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By logging into this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

These terms may be revised from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or a notice on the login page. Continued use of the system after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
